Pika Pricing 2026: Free, Starter, Creator, Fancy & API
Pika pricing explained: Free, Starter, Creator and Fancy costs, monthly credits, commercial rights, top-ups, rollover rules, Enterprise and API pricing.

Pika pricing has two distinct layers: consumer subscriptions for creators and a separate developer API. Consumer plans use monthly credits and one-time top-ups. The API uses usage-based pricing by model, request, second or minute and is currently in a transition where two official Pika pricing surfaces describe membership differently.
The current consumer lineup is clear: Free costs $0, Starter $10 per month, Creator $35 and Fancy starts at $95. Annual billing saves 20 percent, reducing the effective monthly rates to $8, $28 and $76. Higher Fancy credit configurations can scale up to $880 monthly or $704 annual-equivalent.

Pika Free pricing
Free costs $0. The current pricing page lists zero recurring monthly credits and describes the plan as packs only.
Free still includes access to all models, two parallel video generations, two parallel image/audio generations and no-watermark output under the current plan table. It does not include a commercial license, priority queue or early model access.
Users can buy one-time top-up credits on Free without starting a subscription.
Pika Starter pricing
Starter costs $10 per month or $8 per month equivalent when billed annually, for an annual total of $96.
Starter includes 900 monthly credits, access to all models, two parallel video generations, eight parallel image/audio generations and no-watermark output.
Starter does not include commercial licensing, priority queue or early access. This makes it better suited to personal experimentation than client or monetized production.
Pika Creator pricing
Creator costs $35 monthly or $28 per month equivalent when billed annually, for an annual total of $336.
Creator includes 3,150 monthly credits, eight parallel video generations, 32 parallel image/audio generations, no-watermark output and a commercial license.
Creator does not currently include the Fancy priority queue, but it is the most important professional threshold because commercial licensing begins here.
Pika Fancy pricing
Fancy starts at $95 per month or $76 annual-equivalent with 8,550 monthly credits. Pika's pricing slider offers larger Fancy configurations scaling through much higher credit allowances and prices up to $880 per month or $704 annual-equivalent.
Fancy includes unlimited parallel generations, commercial licensing and priority queue access. Early access to new models appears on higher Fancy configurations, with the pricing page currently noting it from $440 per month.
Fancy is therefore a capacity tier rather than simply a feature unlock. Teams should choose a configuration from measured generation volume.
Pika Enterprise pricing
Enterprise is custom. Pika positions it for studios and teams needing custom monthly credits, unlimited parallel generation, commercial licensing, early model access and dedicated support.
The developer side also offers enterprise arrangements with volume pricing, higher limits, reserved capacity, private or fine-tuned models and service-level support.
How Pika credits work
Consumer credits are spent according to the selected model, duration, resolution and generation type. The live pricing page gives examples rather than one universal conversion.
For example, the current page lists a five-second 720p Seedance 2.5 generation at 122 credits, Wan 3.0 720p at 33 credits and a 1K Nano Banana 2 image at eight credits. These examples show why comparing only the monthly credit number can be misleading.
Do monthly Pika credits roll over?
No. The current pricing FAQ says subscription-plan credits refresh each billing period and do not roll over.
This means unused Starter, Creator or Fancy monthly credits should be treated as expiring plan capacity rather than a long-term balance.
Pika top-up pricing
Pika currently prices one-time top-ups at 60 credits per $1. Published packs include 1,500 credits for $25, 3,000 for $50, 6,000 for $100, 12,000 for $200, 30,000 for $500 and 66,000 for $1,000.
The current pricing page says purchased top-up credits remain in the account until spent. A top-up does not start a subscription and can be purchased even on Free.
Changing Pika plans
An upgrade applies immediately. A downgrade is scheduled for the next billing period and can be reversed before the change takes effect.
This gives creators flexibility to move to a higher credit tier for a heavier production period without permanently locking into that level.
Pika API pricing
Pika's current API catalog uses model-specific usage pricing. Pika 2.5 text-to-video and image-to-video currently start around $0.04 per second. Pikadditions and Pikaswaps are currently $0.03 per successful request, while Pikaffects is $0.05 per successful request.
Pika also exposes audio models and a broad third-party catalog where prices can be per request, per second, per minute or per million tokens.
Important API pricing discrepancy
As of September 25, 2026, Pika has two official developer pricing surfaces that do not fully agree. The August 5 Pika API Club announcement and dev.pika.art pricing describe a $10 monthly membership that unlocks member pricing, includes $10 first-month credit and then charges pay as you go.
At the same time, the current mcp.pika.art pricing page describes Developer as pay as you go with no subscriptions or minimums. Because both are official Pika properties and both are currently accessible, developers should verify the price shown at API signup before modeling production cost.
Pika API rate limits
The current self-serve API documentation lists 60 requests per minute. Another current enterprise page also describes a default concurrency of ten jobs, with higher limits available for enterprise deployments.
Large production workloads should confirm current rate limits after account creation because limits can vary by model and account.
API commercial rights
Pika's API documentation currently states that API outputs are licensed for commercial use under the Pika API agreement and that customers retain ownership of prompts and inputs.
This is different from consumer Free and Starter, which currently do not include the consumer commercial license.
Pika cancellation
Consumer subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Users can cancel from the plan-management area, and the current plan stays active until the end of the billing period before moving to Free.
Subscriptions purchased through a mobile platform can be managed through the relevant app-store subscription system.
Pika refund policy
Pika's current Terms state that subscription payments and prepaid credits are generally non-refundable except when the Terms or applicable law expressly require otherwise.
If Pika terminates an account for reasons other than the user's breach, the Terms provide a path to request a refund of unused prepaid credits within the specified window.
Which Pika plan offers the best value?
Choose Free if you want to test models with purchased packs and do not need commercial rights. Choose Starter for regular personal experimentation. Choose Creator for most professional commercial work. Choose Fancy when concurrency, priority generation and high credit volume justify the cost. Choose Enterprise for studio-scale or negotiated production needs.
Pika pricing compared with alternatives
Runway Standard costs $15 monthly or $12 annual-equivalent with 625 monthly credits, Pro $35/$28 with 2,250 credits and Max $95/$76 with 9,500 credits. Kling AI Standard currently renews at $8.80 monthly after a one-time $6.99 first month, while Pro renews at $32.56, Premier $80.96 and Ultra $159.99. Adobe Firefly Standard is $9.99 monthly, Pro $19.99, Pro Plus $49.99 and Premium $199.99 at current US list pricing.
The raw credit numbers are not directly comparable because each provider charges different amounts for different models, durations and resolutions.

Final pricing verdict
Pika has a clean consumer plan ladder, but the commercial-license cutoff is more important than the headline price. Starter looks inexpensive, yet Creator is the realistic entry point for professional output.
Fancy is useful only when generation volume or concurrency is high enough to justify it. Developers should be more cautious: Pika's API rates are transparent at the model level, but the current official disagreement over whether API Club membership is required should be checked at signup.
