Privacy Policy

How SearchSagar handles information when you browse, contact us or use optional features.

Scope and contact

Effective 22 September 2026. This policy covers SearchSagar at searchsagar.com, not the third-party products linked from our directory. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form and select “Privacy request”.

Information you provide

Contact submissions contain the fields you send, such as your name, email, subject and message. If a newsletter is offered and you choose to subscribe, we collect your email and signup or consent details. Do not submit passwords, API keys, payment information or sensitive personal data.

Technical records

Hosting and application services may process IP addresses, browser or user-agent details, request times and security logs. Form submissions store IP and user-agent information for operational and abuse-prevention purposes. Tracked outbound actions can record the destination, associated page or tool and technical request information.

Why information is used

We use information to handle enquiries, assess corrections, respond to requests, operate the website, diagnose problems and prevent abuse. Optional analytics, when configured, helps understand site usage after the applicable choice is granted. Newsletter details support the subscription you request.

Cookies and analytics

Essential storage supports administration, security and saved preferences. Optional analytics may use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. You can allow or decline it, or change your choice on the Cookie Policy page. Declining analytics does not remove ordinary server or security logging.

Providers and external links

Hosting, database, communication and analytics providers may process information to supply their services. When newsletter delivery is enabled, subscriber details may reach the configured delivery provider. External or affiliate links lead to separate services with their own policies and possible referral tracking. Information may be disclosed to meet legal obligations or protect the service.

AI-assisted editorial work

Public product information may be sent to configured AI providers to help prepare editorial content. Contact messages are stored as submissions; the contact form does not itself ask AI to answer your message. Avoid including confidential material in an editorial suggestion.

Retention and security

Information is retained for its intended purpose, including follow-up enquiries, abuse prevention and applicable obligations. Retention differs between messages, subscriptions, operational logs and backups. You may request deletion of information associated with you. Access controls and safeguards reduce risk, but no internet service guarantees absolute security.

Choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent applies. Contact us to make a request; reasonable verification may be needed before information is disclosed or changed. You may have a right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

International processing and children

Service providers may process information outside your country. Applicable protections depend on the provider and relevant law. This website is intended for people evaluating software, not for collecting information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

Changes

This policy may change as website features or data practices change. The effective date identifies this version. Material changes should be reflected here before the relevant new processing begins.

We use optional analytics to understand site usage. No analytics loads until you consent.
