Murf Pricing 2026: Studio, API, Dub & Voice Costs
Murf pricing explained: Free, Creator, Business and Enterprise Studio plans, voice hours, API character rates, Dub credits, cancellation and refund terms.

Murf pricing is split across three different products: Murf Studio for voiceover production, Murf API for programmatic speech and related endpoints, and Murf Dub for multilingual dubbing. The products use different billing units, so buyers should not treat the Studio subscription as an all-inclusive Murf license.
For Studio, Free costs $0, Creator currently starts at $29 on monthly billing or $19 per month equivalent billed annually, and Business starts at $99 monthly or $66 annual-equivalent. Enterprise is custom. The API uses usage-based character or minute pricing, while Dub uses credits.

Murf Free pricing
Free costs $0 and does not require a credit card. It includes 10 projects, 10 minutes of voice generation and one editor. Murf lets Free users try Business-level functionality, but the resulting work cannot be downloaded and does not include commercial rights.
Free is therefore best treated as an evaluation environment. It is useful for testing voices, accents and workflow, but a paid plan is required before producing downloadable commercial audio.
Murf Creator pricing
Murf's current 2026 product content lists Creator starting at $29 per user per month on monthly billing. The live pricing page displays annual Creator at $19 per month equivalent, billed as $228 per year.
Creator includes 100 projects, 24 hours of voice generation per year, one editor, 200+ voices, styles and tonalities, pronunciation changes, MultiNative voices, unlimited downloads, Canva integration and commercial rights.
Creator is the practical self-serve plan for freelancers, YouTubers, educators and marketers who need exportable voiceovers but do not require advanced expressive controls or larger production allowances.
Murf Business pricing
Business starts at $99 per user per month under Murf's current monthly pricing references. The live annual pricing page lists Business at $66 per month equivalent, billed as $792 per year.
Business includes 500 projects, 96 hours of voice generation per year and 48 hours of transcription. It adds features such as Emphasis, Variability, Say It My Way, Audio to Text, PowerPoint integration and Murf voices for Windows apps.
The higher price is therefore not only buying more hours. It also unlocks controls that can reduce the amount of manual audio correction needed for polished narration.
Murf Enterprise pricing
Enterprise uses custom pricing and is designed for larger organizations. Murf currently lists unlimited voice generation, custom project limits, custom editors with a five-seat-plus structure, unlimited viewer seats, collaboration, AI Translation, SSO, custom agreements, IT security assessment, invoicing, custom voice-clone add-ons and a customer success manager.
Enterprise also includes a no-training-on-customer-data commitment and stronger administrative controls. Buyers should request a quote based on editor count, voice volume, cloning requirements, translation needs and security requirements.
How Murf measures Studio usage
Studio uses Voice Generation Time rather than characters. Annual Creator currently includes 24 hours per year, while Business includes 96 hours. Murf's help documentation explains that project limits are workspace limits rather than monthly replenishing project credits.
If Voice Generation Time runs out, users can upgrade or repurchase the plan. Murf also supports pro-rated upgrades. Unused time behavior depends on plan changes, cancellation and pauses, so teams should review current billing rules before changing tiers.
Murf annual pricing discount
Murf currently advertises annual Studio pricing at a 33 percent saving. Creator's annual price is $228, equivalent to $19 per month, while Business is $792, equivalent to $66 per month.
Annual plans are attractive for stable production volume, but buyers should test voice quality and workflow before prepaying because refund eligibility is not automatic.
Murf API pricing
Murf API is separate from Studio subscriptions. Current pricing lists the Falcon model at $0.01 per 1,000 characters for low-latency conversational use and studio-quality text-to-speech at $0.03 per 1,000 characters for richer voiceover production.
Voice Changer is currently $0.10 per minute, while Translation is $0.02 per 1,000 characters. Murf provides a pricing calculator because a production application can use more than one endpoint.
Murf API free credit
Murf's current API pricing page offers $10 of free credit every month with no credit card required. The free API tier includes access to all API endpoints, more than 150 voices across 35+ languages and styles, and up to five concurrent requests.
This recurring free credit makes the API easy to prototype before switching to pay-as-you-go production.
Murf API pay as you go
Pay-as-you-go allows teams to add funds and consume them according to model and endpoint usage. Current help documentation lists Falcon at $0.01 per 1,000 characters and Gen2/studio-quality TTS at $0.03 per 1,000 characters. Purchased credit is designed for production use and can be topped up automatically.
Enterprise API contracts support higher concurrency, data-residency requirements, custom support and volume discounts.
Murf Dub pricing
Murf Dub has a separate Free Trial, Pay-as-you-go and Enterprise structure. Free includes 200 dubbing credits, watermarked export and one active project.
Pay-as-you-go is currently $1 per credit, with a minimum purchase of $5 and purchases available up to 10,000 credits. PAYG removes the watermark and supports up to five projects. Enterprise adds unlimited projects, collaboration, SSO, support and quality-assured dubbing.
What can make Murf more expensive?
Regeneration is the most obvious Studio cost driver. A script that requires several versions can consume more Voice Generation Time than its final runtime suggests. Moving from Creator to Business also increases subscription cost if expressive controls or transcription are needed.
API and Dub usage are separate. A company using Studio for marketing videos, Falcon for voice agents and Dub for localization may end up managing three Murf budgets at once.
Third-party tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe or learning platforms can also have their own subscription costs.
Commercial rights
Creator and Business include commercial rights, and Enterprise includes business usage rights. Murf's current help documentation says those rights continue to apply to voiceovers created while the subscription was active even after the subscription later ends.
Free projects do not include commercial rights.
Murf cancellation policy
Murf subscriptions renew monthly or annually unless canceled before renewal. Users can cancel from Workspace Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and premium features remain available until then.
Murf recommends canceling at least one day before renewal to avoid an unintended charge.
Murf refund policy
Murf does not present cancellation as automatically refundable. Its Help Center directs eligible users to contact support for refund review. Recently renewed subscribers can also request cancellation and refund review by contacting Murf.
This means buyers should not assume an annual plan can simply be refunded after significant use.
Pausing a Murf subscription
Murf also offers a 30-day pause option. During a pause, the account does not incur subscription charges and unused Voice Generation Time can be carried forward when the subscription resumes. Projects remain viewable, while editing and rendering are restricted during the pause.
If the subscription is canceled during or after the pause, carried-forward Voice Generation Time is lost.
Which Murf plan offers the best value?
Choose Free to test voices and workflow. Choose Creator for individual commercial voiceover production. Choose Business when higher volume, expressive controls, transcription and presentation integrations matter. Choose Enterprise when collaboration, unlimited generation, SSO and custom voices are required. Use Murf API separately for products or voice agents that generate speech programmatically.
Murf pricing compared with alternatives
ElevenLabs has a Free plan, Starter at $6 per month, Creator at $22, Pro at $99 and higher team tiers. Descript has Free, Hobbyist at $24 monthly or $16 annual-equivalent, Creator at $35/$24 and Business at $65/$50. Synthesia Basic is free, Starter is $29 monthly and Creator is $89 monthly, with lower annual-equivalent prices.
These products price different workloads. ElevenLabs uses shared generative credits, Descript uses media hours plus AI credits, Synthesia uses video/dubbing credits and Murf Studio uses voice-generation hours. Compare the full production process rather than only the starting subscription.

Final pricing verdict
Murf's Studio pricing is easy enough to understand once the billing surface is separated from API and Dub. Creator offers a useful commercial voiceover package, while Business pays for both higher output volume and better production controls. Enterprise is clearly targeted at organizations rather than individual creators.
The main budgeting mistake is assuming a Studio plan covers every Murf product. If your workflow uses programmatic TTS or multilingual dubbing, model those costs separately. For API users, the newer Falcon rate of $0.01 per 1,000 characters can be materially cheaper than studio-quality TTS at $0.03.
