Claude Code currently supports VS Code, Cursor and other VS Code forks plus IntelliJ, PyCharm and other JetBrains IDEs. Anthropic's FAQ explicitly says there is no current Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 native integration. Claude Code can also operate from the terminal, browser, desktop and mobile, so developers are not restricted to a single editor interface.
